FAQs
Where is the camp?
The address is:
Timerbercrest Camp - 512 W. Fork Road, Red Lodge, MT 59068.
When is the RSVP/Booking deadline?
The RSVP deadline is June 15th but space at the camp is first come, first served so we highly recommend booking early!
Is the wedding at Timbercrest Camp?
No it isn't. The venue for our wedding is 15 minutes down the road from camp at Montana Wildflower Weddings
Do camp and the wedding have the same RSVP?
No, our wedding and camp are two separate events that require their own RSVPs. Please book your spot for camp on this website and RSVP for the wedding at lizzyandconnor.com
Do I have to stay at the camp to participate in meals and activities?
Nope! You're welcome to join us for activities even if you are not staying at the camp. We have options for day campers who want to take part in activities and meals or you can drop in just for the activities without group meals. It’s all about making the experience work for you! Red Lodge has a ton of other lodging options like hotels and airbnbs. But we'd love for you to stay at camp if at all possible. It'll be more fun and we'll see you more.
Can I stay for only part of the weekend?
Yes! Let us know and we can figure out a partial camp package with the venue and caterer for you.
Do I have to attend camp to come to the Wedding?
Not at all! Camp is completely optional and separate from the wedding itself. Whether you join us at camp or not, we can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding on Saturday!
Can I bring my own tent, camper or RV to camp?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own tent! For campers or RVs, it’s a maybe—we’ll need to check with the camp about the size and specs of your vehicle. Please note that all RVs must be parked in the camp’s parking lot, and neither campers nor RVs will have water or power hookups. Let us know if you’re hoping to bring one, and we’ll help coordinate with the camp!
Are kids welcome at camp?
Yes! Kids who are included on the wedding invitation are also welcome to join the camp experience. We can’t wait to celebrate with the whole family!
Can I bring my pets?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the camp. We appreciate your understanding!
How will I get ready for the wedding if I am staying in a rustic cabin?
No worries! We’ll provide a big getting-ready space in the main lodge on Saturday. The lodge has plenty of outlets, and we’ll bring in mirrors, irons, steamers and other essentials to make sure you have everything you need to get all wedding-ready comfortably.
What is the dress code?
Camp is all about comfort and having fun! Dress casually with weather-appropriate clothing, like T-shirts, shorts, jeans, and sturdy shoes for outdoor activities. High-altitude weather can have big temperature swings, so layers are a must. Expect warm days in the 80s and cooler nights that can dip into the high 40s. Be sure to pack jackets, sweaters, and cozy layers to stay comfortable in the evenings.
Is there wifi or cell service at the camp?
No, there won’t be Wi-Fi or reliable cell service at the camp, but it’s the perfect chance to unplug and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! If you need to reconnect, full cell service is available just 10 minutes down the road in town, where you’ll also find plenty of cafes and locations with Wi-Fi.
Do I need to bring bedding and towels?
Towels will be provided for all guests, so no need to pack those! For bedding, we encourage you to bring your own if possible for added comfort. However, if you’d prefer not to, you’ll have the option at check-out to request a bedding package, which includes a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and bottom sheet for your bed. Whatever works best for you! If you are bringing your own bedding we recommend brining warm layers and sleeping bags. Nighttime temperatures can drop to the high 40s.
I see Timbercrest is a Girl Scout camp? Will there be Girl Scouts there?
We have the camp to ourselves! There will be no other campers or events on the grounds during our stay.
When is Check-In and Check-Out
Camp opens at 3pm on Thursday and Check-out is at Noon on Sunday
Am I paying to come to your wedding?
You’re not! The summer camp experience is a completely separate and optional acoomodation option that we’ve planned to make the wedding weekend even more fun and to have quality time with all our favorite people. The cost covers your stay at the camp and meals from our private chef, with all payments going directly to the camp venue and chef.
